Structured data
Whether pages carry valid schema.org JSON-LD describing what they are.
Worth 20 of 100 in the audit score.
What we check
We parse application/ld+json blocks, check they are valid JSON, and look for types identifying the page and organisation.
Why it matters
Structured data states unambiguously what a page is and who published it, helping a model attribute a claim to the right organisation.
How to fix it
- Describe the organisation once and reference it by @id elsewhere.
- Mark up what the page actually is rather than adding speculative types.
- Validate it: invalid JSON-LD is ignored entirely.
