Privacy Policy

Brandtrace.net (KVK 84222689), a Dutch sole proprietorship, operates Brandtrace. This policy explains information we collect, why, and your choices. It applies to marketing-site visitors and Brandtrace application users.

1. Information we collect

We process identity-provider account details; project and brand data such as tracked domains, competitors, prompts, and choices; standard usage and device logs; subscription, billing-status, and invoice information (Stripe processes payment details); optional site crawl and bot-visit data; and optional Google Search Console performance data for properties you explicitly authorize.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service; run configured monitoring prompts; process payments; respond to support; and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

3. Google Search Console integration and Google user data

Search Console is opt-in and per domain. We request read-only performance data and your email to show the connected account, never write or delete access. We use it only for dashboard analytics and enabled features. You can disconnect it in the Service or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions; stored data for that connection is deleted within 30 days. Our use of Google API data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use.

4. How we share information

We share information only with contracted service providers operating Brandtrace: Stripe for payments, iambarn for identity, AI model providers for configured prompts, Google Search Console for opted-in accounts, and infrastructure, database, error-tracking, and analytics providers. We may disclose information where law requires, to protect rights or safety, or in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale where required.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use necessary cookies or local storage to keep you signed in and privacy-conscious analytics without tracking cookies. After a Google Ads click, we request consent before setting a conversion cookie; organic and direct visitors do not receive it. You can change the choice through Cookie settings in the footer.

6. Data retention

We retain account and project data while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, accounting, or dispute obligations. You may request deletion; billing records are retained as Dutch tax law requires.

7. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege credentials. No transmission or storage method is completely secure.

8. Your rights

Where GDPR applies, you may access, correct, export, or delete personal data and object to or restrict certain processing. Email [email protected] to exercise rights. You may complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens or your local supervisory authority.

9. International transfers

When a provider is outside the European Economic Area, we rely on suitable safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Children’s privacy

Brandtrace is a business tool, not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes appear through an updated effective date and, where appropriate, direct notice to account holders.
