What does this comparison cover?
This page compares Brandtrace with Peec AI, Otterly.AI and Rankscale, three other tools that track how AI assistants answer questions about a brand. It states facts taken from each vendor's public pricing page on 15 October 2026. Plans, prices and limits change, so check the vendor's page before you decide.
All four tools run a set of prompts on AI assistants, store the answers and report how often a brand is mentioned. The differences sit in how they count usage, which models each plan includes and what you get beside the tracking.
What does Brandtrace include?
Brandtrace has four plans. Starter is free: 1 user, 3 prompts tracked weekly, 1 project, ChatGPT and 1 week of history. Growth costs €29 a month: 3 users, 10 prompts tracked daily, 1 project, ChatGPT and 3 months of history. Pro costs €99 a month: 10 users, 75 prompts tracked daily, 5 projects, all major models, 1 year of history and API and MCP access. Agency costs €299 a month: 50 users, 500 prompts tracked daily, 25 projects, all major models, 2 years of history and API and MCP access.
A tracked prompt counts once against the plan limit, however many models it runs on. Each run on a model also uses credits from the monthly allowance, and extra credits can be added. Every new workspace can start a 14-day Pro preview without a credit card and then stays on the free Starter plan.
Brandtrace also scans your website and suggests the prompts to track, reports which of your pages the answers cite, and shows which AI crawlers reach your site.
What does Otterly.AI list?
Otterly lists three priced plans: Lite at $29 a month for 15 search prompts, Standard at $189 a month for 100 prompts and Premium at $489 a month for 400 prompts. All three include ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot, with unlimited team members and tracking in more than 50 countries. Claude, Google AI Mode and Gemini are paid add-ons. API access, MCP access and a Looker Studio connector are listed from Standard. Enterprise is custom and starts from 1,000 prompts.
The page shows a second, lower set of prices next to a monthly and annual toggle with 15% off for annual billing, so read the prices on its page for the billing period you want.
What does Rankscale list?
Rankscale sells credits. Essentials costs $17 a month billed yearly. Pro costs $99 a month with 1,200 credits and 10 brand dashboards. Pro+ costs $229 with 3,000 credits and 25 dashboards, Growth costs $385 with 5,500 credits and 50 dashboards, and Enterprise costs $780 with 12,000 credits and 100 dashboards. A REST API is listed from Pro+ and white-label options on Growth. The engines listed are ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode and AI Overviews, DeepSeek, Mistral, Claude and Microsoft Copilot.
What does Peec AI list?
Peec lists Starter, Pro, Advanced and Enterprise plans. We could not read plan prices on its public pricing page, apart from Enterprise, which is custom. The page names ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini as tracked platforms and lists prompts, active models, countries and team users as the limits that differ between plans, without numbers. It lists an API, MCP and a Data Studio connector without saying which plan includes them. Check Peec's pricing page or ask its sales team for the figures.
How do they count usage?
Brandtrace limits the number of tracked prompts and counts each one once across models, while model runs draw on a credit allowance. Otterly limits search prompts per plan and sells extra engines as add-ons. Rankscale limits credits and the answers they buy. Compare plans against your own prompt count and the models you need, and ignore the plan names.
How do you choose between them?
Work out three numbers first: how many prompts you want to track, which models your buyers use and how many people need access. Then read each vendor's plan against those three numbers. Brandtrace states its limits in the same units on its pricing page, in llms.txt and in its structured data, so you can check them at brandtrace.net/pricing.
